What are the different fire extinguisher Classes?
Class A Fires fueled by common combustibles: wood, paper, fabric and plastics.
Class B Fires are fueled by flammable liquids and gases: gasoline, oil, and paints.
Class C Fires are started by live electronics.
Class D is a fire started by flammable metals such as sodium, potassium and lithium. When ignited these metals produce a fire.
Class K fires are most often kitchen fires.
